The problem with many healers in this game is that their heals have no cooldown and are often tied to their main attack (or can't attack and heal at the same time). This combined with their actual attacks not being very strong or limited means the healers turn into healbots.

Meanwhile take a hero like MalDamba. His main heal is on a 3s cooldown and he has an aoe damage+heal ability. This means he can throw out an aoe effect to heal and/or deal damage and use main heal, but then leaves a window for when he can attack because he can't heal at that time anyway.
This prevents him from being a healbot.
