the only metroidvania I've ever beated was bloodstained ritual of the the night, I tried sotn got filtered in like the first map cause it was too hard, tried hk cause at time I was obsessed with souls and heard it was a soulslike (like salt and sanctuary wich is a soulslike 2d) got disappointed when I actually played and it had nothing to do with souls outside of muh dark aesthetic and dropped it
