How would you even tell?

To answer the question, I would think about long-term ammo scavenging. I'd want a firearm in 5.56, one in 7.62, one in 9mm, and one in .45. I'd plan to carry one rifle and one handgun, and to have stashed another set some place safe if possible.

The hope is that I could use almost any ammo I find.

It'd also be good to have a 22 LR with a scope, and a bow.
