Mech. If you only roll 1 copy of mech, you are stuck at gold rank 1 but if 2 copies max out at gold rank 3. At gold rank 3, the mech will have their base lvl 4 mod and you can add another 4 modules on them to reach lvl 8 mod. This essentially making them pseudo rainbow. You should focus on rolling 2 copies of some powerful mechs and share them across the team rather than rolling 1 of each.
Pilot is like 90% of their power even at their base.
