Agreed, completely. My favorite trope is BE as a metaphor for repressed libido. There's thousands of iterations, but the concept of a "normal" woman suddenly finding herself out of control of her own body as she plumps up into a perfect breeding specimen with massive breasts is *chefs kiss*

Essentially the expansion process is the "true desires" of the character making themselves physically noticeable in the narrative. That long-time roommate who has never dealt with her feelings for her cohabiter; the "innocent girl" who is used to shoving those dirty thoughts down; the uncorruptable prude who looks down on floosy women. Archetypes who resist their body changing to reflect their real self, but ultimately change along with their bodies to be more true to their innate nature, becoming more realized characters in the process.

Now, If it's extra fun to have "rules" that enhance the lewd aspects of the narrative, like denial leads to even more extreme breast growth - even better. I love cowgirls and cowgirl "genetics" for this reason, its a great plot device that feels biological and natural for slow-burn, slow growth stories and characters.

My favorite scene in any narrative I create is when the female progtag is noticing how much she's recently filled out in front of a mirror - nothing fits, everything she owns makes her look like a slut cause of the weight and breast increases, and she hates all of it - only to immediately seek comfort in the vice that is causing the "problem" in the first place.
