"I'd scan you for side effects, but we don't have time." Squid remarks.

"How'd your hacking go?" You ask without turning back. Porcupamon slides his bulky frame past you, taking point and ensuring he's the first one who will emerge into the main hallway. You still hear the sound of faint fighting ahead.

"Good. I've hidden the coordinates. Now we just have to clear them out before they can hack through."

"Any idea how many?" You ask.

"Still hundreds." ToyAgumon replies with a gulp.

"But-" Bella interrupts. "-that number is inflated by bots. There can't be that many actual Digimon left if they're still fighting."

"So we'll handle those!" Gazimon declares.

You want to check up on Bella's health and ask if she feels good enough to walk, or say to Squid that you didn't take her for a fighter, or snap at Ryan for not covering you well enough (Perhaps unfairly so, for it's not like he was slacking). Instead, all those thoughts roil about in your mind, completely overshadowed by your frustration. You just nod and keep walking, eager to see what Digimon is leading this charge.

When you emerge into the main room, Porcupamon is instantly beset by gunfire. He backs away before the bullets can knock the OOPART out of his body.

"Gah! Loads of Commandramon."

You all crouch in the hallway while ToyAgumon pulls up a security feed. You see an ocean of scrap parts from destroyed bots, as well as countless more packed in neat rows around the partition entrance. They're standing in formation like good little soldiers, observing the actual fighters. Leomon is down on one knee, facing off against two Hi-Commandramon with a broken sword. Their grenade lainchers are aimged at his head. Kaus Gammamon is fighting another blurry shape, moving too quickly to keep track of. You don't see Wind anywhere, but you can spot an alcove behind him that he seems to be defending with his very life.

The remaining Commandramon are forming a cordon, making sure there are a dozen guns pointed in your direction to ward off any interference. Others are crouching around a portable terminal, carrying out some kind of hack. You assume it's an attempt to reacquire a GPS signal so they can bust the base once and for all. There are countless enemies, and you can't even begin to imagine how many there were before. Kaus Gammamon and Leomon are both out of energy, with the latter close to being finished off.
