Fear not, Alberta will send him some money again. Quebec would be an amazingly rich Province should they ever decide to actually harvest some of their available resources, but why bother when Alberta will do it for them.

If Quebec ever went independent they could be as rich as Norway if they actually wanted to work hard and fire half or more of their lard assed civil servants who produce nothing but red tape and regulations.
