Look everyone you’re missing the big picture here when it comes to the game. The problem this game has is not really the grind but that the grind is not fun or rewarding. People are just not enjoying playing with 50 different modifiers that rotate every other hour that kill you in new ways you were not even aware of with fuck all to show for it. It feels cheap and bloated. You don't learn encounters anymore you just survive them and walk away with trash for months on end.
You can go full sundial. Have everyone pick up primes at the tower 10 at a time twice a day. It won't make the game feel better. Being 450 won't make the game feel better. The game has lost its identity chasing playtime. The thing is that playing at all is now a chore designed to make everything slow and boring to ensure they get the playtime they want. This is how you loose people.
They could bump everyone up by 100 power today. Would not change a thing with how the activities have been redesigned. What people are starting to feel is that leveling does not make a difference with how you have to play now, the new guns and armor do nothing special to open up the game in new ways, so grinding and gear is ultimately pointless, so investing in the the game is pointless. Casuals feel this shit before they even learn about power resets. They tap out. If you were not blown away by the game at 10 Power you have nothing to look forward to for the next 440 levels. This is the problem.
