Thanks, I guess it is reasonably sharp as I was able to keep ISO below 1000 by lowering shutter speed to something like 1/60th but for true sharpness, with my camera I think you would need to go <400, which means good weather, plenty of sunlight and all.
I do tend to focus on sharpness a lot, maybe this is due to PTSD from using a very old canon rebel with a dark zoom lens for almost a decade, now that I finally have something decent I try to get all the IQ I can from it in any given situation.
But sharpness isn't all, take this black (actually red)squirrel for example.
It's sharp, but boring compared to the one just posted above. Lightning is flat (we've yet to see a single sunny weekend this fall here) and the pose/angle are not interesting.
But hey, it's freaking black.
