Because the whole thing got memory holed under Biden. That administration was smart enough ( amazingly ) to just not talk about it. That's all you had to do. Just ignore the issue entirely. And 4 years went by and nobody thought much about it anymore, except a few Republican talking heads keeping the issue alive saying we need to release the evidence.
And it once Republicans were in power again, we'd have it.
Then Trump gets in, and he wants to cover it up too. And we know the way you cover it up. You just don't talk about it. You ignore it.
But the Trump administration is too stupid for that. Instead they have the DOJ come out and say there's nothing to see. Sudden scandal.
And every day since there's been all kind of goofy deflection and childish lies. So they've failed in not talking about it, ignoring it. In fact Trump says something else retarded about it every week since.
Making sure we have something to talk about every week since. The dumb ass has basically gone so far as to implicate himself so highly that it's almost without doubt Trump is in the evidence. It's the WORST cover up I've ever seen in my life, and probably the biggest scandal in presidential history.
And again, all the Trump administration had to do was ignore it, not talk about it, not address it in any way for 4 years just like Biden did.
But that's absolutely not what they did. They built a bonfire and then burned the forest down.
