in that very post you do say youself that the notion of rats in the soup being "degenerate" is based on the underlying assumption that it didn't use to be this way
therefore, we can also say:
>if there were always rats in the soup, it wouldn't be degenerate
>whoever stopped rats being in the soup in the first place was not "anti-degenerate"
>the initial opposition to there being anti-rat legistlation was not "degenerate" either
At this point you're just arguing that rats in the soup are bad, but instead of demonstrating why they're a bad thing, which sould be trivial, you go the lazy route of going hurr durr it didn't use to be this way
