>I can't have an altar for offerings at my home,
You got a shoe lying around? Some cheap plastic jewelry, or some rocks you find interesting? Then you got an altar right there. Engrave a owl-like symbol onto the shoe and bam! You got yourself a makeshift alter. I would suggest libations from a water bottle and either drinking the offering or pouring it into a bowl. Speak whatever your heart needs before making the offering. Put some permanent offerings inside the shoe, but not too many, one or two. Now if your parents want to throw out a shoe, well they have throw out the the other one. But the intention is it being so mundane and out of mind that your parents wouldn't bother to check. Accidentally gets thrown out? So what, get a new shoe, don't cry over it like it was masterpiece or spiritual relic. I've seen pagans try to hide entire altars in shoe boxes and throw a fit when their parents discover it and throw it out, too much investment. and intention matters more.

Regardless, the person is afraid that some eternal portion of themself will be tricked, bound in contract, or simply devoured by a spirit. Probably sexual feeding will fall under category 1 and 2. Some unscrupulous succubus makes her energy feel *very good* until it subsides and it has a very catastrophic withdrawal. The person is begging for more, but the succubus knows to withhold until the person truly breaks. This is establishes control over the person and makes it easier to make contracts with the person. Sure the spirit didn't devour their soul, but the summoner has effectively sold their soul.
