I wouldn't say its a "solid game" or really a game at all anymore, more of an interactive story/walking sim than an adventure game (ignoring some of the legendary Lucasarts hairbrained puzzle solutions), but I will agree with you that I'm glad they remastered it, it's a story that stuck with me and I think about now and then. Its unique and I'm in love with the film noire atmosphere of the game and all the nods to Hitchcock movies in it.
