Try this 360 panorama on Google maps and see if you can find sightlines from the rooftops above the Browning building. The only thing is it has to be also distant enough to get an angle under the top of the canopy Charlie was sitting under.

This looks like the only possible way for a side shot but actually looks like a well hidden path. It has several lines of sight from the rooftop above and behind that structure with the three gaps. With the gray building next to it, nobody would see anything unless they were to Charlie's left, but even there the canopy he was sitting under blocks that view too.
