Did my recovery run after the HM. Didn't hurt as bad as I expected, still probably went a bit too fast though. I also updated my spreadsheet to show the longer runs better. I don't know how often I'll do those distances, but the columns are there now. Anyway, now I'm going to work on cutting fat and doing uphill runs... once my legs feel better. I'll probably go for increasing weekly mileage and pace rather than long individual runs.
Today I saw 2 buns and I think a beaver swimming in the river.
Also... I guess it's the first day of school, as I think some high school cross country team was out practicing on the trail. Idk what their distance was, but some of them looked like they were definitely ngmi... hopefully it's only day 1 for them though and they can improve. I should have done XC in high school but I was fat, asthmatic, ugly, and extremely allergic to the outdoors (pollen).
