God is not punishing you. You, your family, and I are all innocent bystanders in a millennium long debate. That debate is ending soon and the Earth will be transformed into the paradise Adam and Eve forsook. It will happen within your lifetime.

It's not a test, it's A DEMONSTRATION of freedom FROM GOD. Jehovah knows humanity will fail, BUT, humanity doesn't know it HAS failed. God wants to demonstrate to humanity and angels what freedom FROM GOD looks like.
