It's just one of those microfandoms that pops up and disappears because it's bandwagon central. You can name a thousand just like it. Helluvaboss, Hazbin hotel, that stupid cgi clown show, they're all things that will pop up as a "fandom" for a few weeks, maybe a couple months, and then the only people who still care about it are furries, who of course only care because they draw porn of them for money.
We are of course infinitely superior and exist as a fandom who actually cares about the source material and characters.
