people always seem to be under the assumption that therapy will fix everything like a magical potion. Both the people recommending it and the people like you shitting on it. But you have to realize that it'll only do any work if you're willing to accept it. The only person stringing someone along here is yourself, and you must be the one to change that.
It's accomplish-able without therapy. It's accomplish-able without professional therapy (I.E. Friends.), but it's generally easier with someone who knows how to point you down the path to walk, you just gotta walk it.
