>Capitalism is the enemy of the real economy and society and of the making and doing of real things. It's a psychological weapon of mass death, destruction and species extinction.
You can see it from two perspectives.
Either that capitalism is a political and economic system, or that it is an economic mechanism.
I am focused on the mechanism primarily.
The mechanism is the same as evolution, only applied to economic activity.
So the mechanism of letting the consumers direct capital to output nodes in a regulated market with some protectionist measures (primarily against foreign actors) is not what you describe.
Ofc, you do want a healthy market to begin with and not one like we have today where everyone is squeezed and established actors engage in price fixing.
For instance regarding logging in Sweden, everyone cutting trees is required to replant more than they cut down (and they actually do it).
The local market here, in general, makes it possible for everyone to make a profit with some ofc making a larger profit than others. The problems become real when demand becomes too low so producers have to sell their stuff at a loss and have sunk costs forcing them to work anyway. Personally I think the government should protect those vital interests (food production, biomass production etc) which is compatible with the mechanism of consumers allocating their own funds where they want.
