sometimes the jannies make me wait 180 seconds over and over to reply to a thread or 300 seconds OVER AND OVER to post a thread. I think it's a tool to intentionally make the site as un-user friendly as possible to stop masses from nooticing.
e.g. 4chan was hacked not even a couple months ago and no one gaf that this site is an obvious honeypot
