>But even then, Ash is pretty fast since he can keep up with most of his Pokemon
Anon have you watched the part of any arc of the anime where they fight the big villain? The amount of times that Ash has ever actually gotten physically involved with someone threatening his and his Pokemon's life in over a thousand episodes I think can be counted one hand from someone suffering from gangrene. You need to get over that one part of Red vs Tai, it was stupid to include it in that episode and it's stupid to try and hinge everything on it now.
>Enjoy being the sacrifice for Pokemon's pity win.
I've never seen an episode of Yugioh in my life and don't care for Yugi at all. I would much rather Pokemon get other interesting fights.
But the things people have posted have convinced me it's a setting generally far beyond Pokemon or at least Ash in terms of power (who usually peaks at building level even with heavy scaling) unless it is all magically made up. But even then we've just had an episode where someone's 'made up feats' let them get the win against a 'real' character (Joker vs Giorno).
