League and CSGO are social games, you play them exclusively because you want to play *something* with your group of friends (anyone who plays them solo is a psychopath). As such, it's harder to leave those games because you have to find something with "endless content" you can play together with your friends on saturdays and everyone has to agree to move on to the new thing, people will keep playing them for years despite not really enjoying them anymore, just to play with their friends.
Genshin has a social component, but it's not nearly to that extent, it's mostly a single player experience. People will fall off and as long as they kind of keep up with news about the game, they will still get the main social experience this game has to offer: talking about it with your friends.
