This is true. I play ZZZ and the newest character they just released had one of her skill animations changed. The bottom is the original where she pinches a fencing foil between two fingers and runs it down the length. It was changed to the top to be more fancy like the day before she released officially when all the beta footage has her doing the bottom one.
