Sure it does. The point I’m trying to get at is that 3’s party composition only works as well as it does because of the precedent set by prior games, and the fact that the party is utilized in a very “Xeno” way within the story.
Sure, the fact that they’re all teenagers has never happened before, but neither had the entire party being made of sentient android soul puppets (X) or largely ageless living weapons (2). That doesn’t make them bad or “un-Xeno,” and they work for almost exactly the same reason 3’s party does.
