I did but then they put the tiny duel maps in the normal map pool and it got really annoying. Some of the abilities were also pretty stupid back then but I've heard they've been nerfed.

Despite what some might tell you. Quake Champions was a pretty good attempt at modernizing the Arena Shooter formula, those who thought it just needed to be Q3 are delusional. That being said I mostly blame it's failure on Saber and their godawful engine and Bethesda fuckery. Miss you /arena/.
