He was definitely retarded on that point and clearly still has coping issues but it was still understandable coming from him. Grandpa started off the first robot waifu/husbandos, he got raised by a really cool robot and has a hot robot secretary that goes above and beyond for him. Whatsmore outside a few cases of going maverick the robots did as advertised and more so wanting to see his family's dream truly take off no matter what makes sense for him. I'm sure most of us scoffed at how far he took it but just look at the backlash at the chatgpt 5 launch, people do in fact break down from losing their virtual friend.

My own personal guilty pleasure would be Wizard. It's got a shitbones main plot and they kept Haruto bland for whatever reason but I still enjoyed the cast and some of the subplots. I wouldn't go as far to step up to its defense from a bizzaro ass claim as I would for say Gavv or Build but talk nonsense about Nitou and you'd have my attention.
