What disappoints me most about stories featuring bad end imprisonments is that they usually end shortly after the process has been completed. I want to read about the girl's mental and emotional progression as she's forced to come to terms with her new existence. The cycles of rage and despair. The continued attempts of struggling that become less and less about attempting to escape and more another form of torture that keeps her thinking about how helpless she is. The slow loss of sanity, embracing of hallucinations, the regret of snapping out of them into a void of endless silence.

Most artists never detail that part, and it sucks.
