I liked that it was super campy most of the time only to have like three super dramatic and heavy episodes where the tone is suddenly shifted to the point you feel like you're watching a different show. The one with the Doom Patrol where they sacrifice themselves as payment for failing to save some civilians years ago, the Joe Chill episode, and the finale. Don't remember if there were any others but it definitely handled itself well. Anyways here's a dorky-looking Katana from early drafts of the show.
