the nobody is listening to conan the barbarian audiobooks and loving it, howard is a great writer who captures a hero living among both the wretched and the elites really well. the ambience is making him forget the riches he lost, and how maybe he is paying for a good eternal life for some pagan god that has real earthly power. crazy stuff.
