If he came with the whole rifle assembled as per limping video, from the armpit to the knee is 80ish cm so if shorter barrel could go further down impending walk more. Unless he had it in 2 parts put in some internal pockets or just strapped to the leg, which is most likely. Stock and the barrel can be easily assembled.
