Are you asking from a brigade/company level or from an meat asssault level? If it's from a squad level, they just throw meat at the front line and try to find gaps in the line, then when they find 'em, they send even more meatwaves until they gain a foothold, then they squat there and eat drones for months on end while being essentially abandoned.
