A Brown Bear's bite force is at least 1,200 PSI which is enough to break through bowling balls. Also Sloth Bears aren't predatory towards Tigers outside of being able to fight on par with most of the time. Sloth Bears are mainly omnivores and only really eat termites and honey combs/larvae. They're just equipped enough to fend off Tigers, Leopards, and Dholes because of their anatomy as a Bear. Also there was 1 recorded case of the smallest and weakest Bear on that chart, a Malaysian Sun Bear, being able to kill a Tiger in Malaysia although the Sun Bear also died, it was a fight to the death and ended in a stalemate. And Sun Bears are smaller and have less defensive fur than even a Sloth Bear does and may as well be dwarves compared to Brown or Kodiak Bears, and especially Polar Bears. So yeah statistically speaking, even a Grizzly, let alone a Kodiak or Kamchatka Bear would kill a Tiger with marginal difficulty but it can be done and is the more likely outcome given Tigers track record against even smaller Bears.
