NEW: an insider at Cigna reports that Indians have taken over the company, with active hiring discrimination against Americans now the rule.

The insider was hired in the late 2010s and claims that since then, only 10-15 other Americans have been hired and 80 percent of the workforce is foreign contractors. Moreover, the company has been forced to hire Indian "engineers" from the bodyshop Hyderabad Innovation Hub after a mass layoff of American workers. This comes after Cigna's white CIO left the company and was replaced with an Indian CIO, who has continued to lay off Americans, replace them with Indians, and refuses to give raises or bonuses to the remaining American staff.
