1. The people arresting you aren't the immigrants, it's your own group arresting you - so your equivalence that colonized people were in the same position is wrong.

2. If you are unhappy about immigration change the immigration rules in your country. If you can't convince your own group to do that , it means your opinion just isn't that popular and you are delusional.

3. The reason why people go to Europe (or from Europe to the US) is simply because of the wealth disparity. Even within Europe people move from East to West because the salaries in the West are much higher. This will never stop until the wealth is more evenly distributed.
