That sounds like a general just asking for trouble.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to assume the board culture hasn't changed in 5 years. Mods and users do shockingly come and go, so the board culture can change over time even if it is in subtle ways. I'm more of a casual /a/ user but just browsing now they have an active Ojamajo Doremi thread.
I'm like 75% sure when the stop motion series actually starts they'll have a thread up. I'll probably show up at least to get some reaction images. Worst case is it doesn't take off or it gets banished to /trash/. Which isn't as bad as you think, you just have to ignore your neighbors and they'll ignore you.
Don't go to /co/ or /tv/ for this, that's the worst call you could make.
