It's very simple for Americans, worthy of being called Americans. Any being going by the term "God", must, by definition, believe in and support the 1st Amendment and the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, or he/she is nothing but an unworthy tyrant unworthy of reference, or worship, by definition.
Essentially, ethics and democracy, suborning "holy writ" aka "what is written", in the Age of Pisces to the mind of the educated citizenry, instead of the narrow kleptocracy of an established aristocratic and/or plutocratic class which has utilized nepotism to corner the reigns of political and religious authority, for entirely their own benefit and abuse, which happened in virtually every single country in Europe, for hundreds of years, during the Age of Pisces.
In short; it's a refutation of both to the "argument of naturalism/argument of power" as a manifestation of divinity, in terms of mind suborning world to law, and the argument to "appeal to authority" as "church" giving unlimited temoral authority to earthy figures in the argument that the Kingdoms of Man on Earth mirror the Kingdom of the Biblical Jesus, as ethics suborning "The Word" of a narrow clique of Roman Aristocrats, who cornered such power, at the Council of Nicea, and afterward where they massacred any of the remaining worshippers of the Ancient Gods and Goddesses, and destroyed their places of worship.
By definition; activity which is unethical and thus ungodly and unlawful in the eyes of the logos; as that which is what defines our belief in our Republic.
