X1 is one thing, but if there weren't going to be a normal X2, then they would've let it use Berga Giros Shot Lancer as an alt main weapon, but they chose not to.

Unless they make a major adjustment and let X2 Kai use it, then it's highly likely that a normal X2 will come out as a separate suit.
