He's such a disgusting pervert, and he lays it all out immediately. I respect it, to be honest.
For whatever reason, I couldn't get myself to keep picking the book back up though. It felt like I was forcing myself. I'll have to try again. The only Barker book I've read in full is Tortured Souls.
