It's a tragedy we didn't get more games out of Itagaki, he got absolutely fucked over by corporate bullshit several times and it clearly fueled his drinking problem. Ninja Gaiden is fucking insanely polished and impressive for a 2004 game, this was just 3 years after DMC1, even predates DMC3 and GoW, it was some cutting edge shit and it just got better and more polished with the DLC updates and Black-release. Breaks my heart he didn't get the chance to refine NG2 in the same way.

And the worst bit of it is after July, NOAA won't get microwave satellite data anymore, so they can just flip a switch on any incoming nighttime hurricanes (Ian, Milton, Helene, notice a pattern here?) crank them up to Category 5 at the last minute (sound familiar?) and kill everyone on the coast with no way to detect or warn people until it's too late
If I can save even one life that will be enough
