Yeah, I don't think so. Costa Rica is going offensive these last few matches but unless there is a complete meltdown I don't see them losing +7-0.
The point of Granada scoring more goals today was because it's kind of likely that T&T could lose 2, 3-0. Seven is too high

Yes. Canada and Mexico always try to send the best team they can to the gold cup with the exception of the last edition for canada. The whole B team A team thing is something that only the USA do and they only started doing it around 2019 or some time around there when the nations league just started
>You'd think this is Canada's best chance to win something for the first time in 25 years.

Wouldn't have changed much in this instance, would it?
Suriname was first place with a draw or a win, El Salvador went for a draw because they clearly couldn't get a win without risking a counter.
Suriname was also apparently saving energy for the Gold Cup match they have in a few days.

It wouldn't have done anything. We were playing Lucas cavalani up top. Without Eustaquio or Kone being there are midfield was atrocious. This was before we had our backline situation sorted out so it was still Kamal Miller and Steven Vitoria getting cooked. Borjan was still our keeper and declining hard. Herdman had no clue what he was doing. Fun fact about that tournament bombito actually did get called up tournament before anyone knew you but he completely wasted him by playing him out of position in the midfield. He also called up shaffleburg just to not play him at all and then when he finally did he scored an et goal against the USA
