There are 7 Canadian teams compared to 25 American teams now, and the next expansion will likely add four American teams
Even if the Oilers win this year, the NHL and hockey in total have been turned against Canada. You were the willing stepping stone for Americans to make tons of cash with your favorite sport. The league was founded by Canadian teams, but now it's just not there anymore. You've been watching Gary prioritize the sunbelt for decades now. You are in no position to gloat - and that's assuming the Oilers will win. If they lose, you are toast
