this tournament isn't so bad. the main issue is that the qualifying from europe sucked. firstly, it should be the cl winners from 2022-25 so chelsea shouldn't have qualified for winning it in 2021. secondly, there shouldn't have been a cap on the number of teams from any country. it should have been the next best teams based on their performance in europe, regardless of country

what's the thought on having this every 2 years? it's only 1 more matchday. the standard cwc is 2 matchdays a year so over 4 years that's 8. add in the 5 for the confederations cup and it's 13 and you only need 14 over 2 years for 2 of these tournaments
