Ronaldinho as we know him wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for pic related. So good they named him twice.

lmao the only thing Okocha has in common with Ronaldinho is their incredible inconsistency. Pure meme player carried by flashy highlights.

Literally a 90's Saint-Maximin.

Top kek the only thing he taught Ronaldinho is how to party instead of training and how to leave the team hotel at 2AM undetected.

What's wrong with enjoying fun players like Okocha?

Bebeto was unlucky to share the spotlight with Romario, so he is definitely underrated. As for Amoroso you never hear much about him, so I guess that says something.

I wouldn't really ever say he was top-tier but I used to love him as a kid. Funny that he got pushed out of Milan by Christian Vieri who turned out to be one of their all-time flops.

Can you not read? I said the era where Prem clubs were beginning to get stacked, which started in full-swing in the mid '00s before it became undoubtedly the most stacked league in the '10s leading to 4 different CL winners from the Premier League, more than any other league by far (LaLiga and Seria A tied for 2nd place with 2 different winners each.)
English football has by far the most European Champions all time, suggesting that the English League in it's various forms has been the most competitive in European football history. If you add Scotland then there's Celtic as well to add to the list.
Probably would have been a lot more if it wasn't for Scousers getting everyone banned in '85 til the early 90s.

Meanwhile no Bunde team that isn't Bayern has won CL since Dortmund in '97 or HSV in '82 or '83 (?). Plus Yanited won in '99 years before the English league became a real European force again.

Anyway, this was a long and roundabout way of saying yes 'you' did beat 'us' at Euro '96, but that doesn't mean Jay-Jay Okocha was a shit player.
