They don't have to fast at all if it's an away game and they're staying the night away, they'd be classed as a traveller. For home games they'll just have to make sure they take on enough low gi and hydration overnight/before dawn and don't train too hard and maybe give them a rest on those games, it'll be like 2 or 3 home day games tops which isn't much to miss.
Anyway this is soccer, there are muslims playing rugby during ramadan fast and they have no problems
