There is too much difference between the euroepan clubs and the rest. This will always be won by an european club. With the Intercontinental Cup it was much easier for some southamerican club to win, they only had to win 1 match or 2 playing against a weaker club before. But let's see, maybe there is surprises and the southamerican teams can compete.
>>149174991 (OP) They are obsessed with us, while we couldn't care less, probably gonna play B teams and still rape them, whatever nobody is watching, we are just waiting for brasileirao to return after this euro pleasing cup, they are literally begging for us to care about their pathetic oil teams
south americans won the intercontinental not because it was one match but because teams were just better. south america had dudes like riquelme, juninho, romario, zico, etc reaching finals
Last year alone Palmeiras sold 3 players under the age of 20 to Europe, to Real Madrid, Manchester City and Estevao, who is going to Chelsea after the championship. Anything that moves and kicks a ball in Brazil is sold to Europe.
Brazilians and Argentinians would be in contention for the title if our players played here.
>>149177910 Yeah if /sp/ was around at any point back then, they would be seething about anything and everything sport related sinilar to present day.

>>149177910 There are two kinds of people posting here, americans who want to force a connection to europe because "muh white pride or algo" and brown immigrants in europe who also want to pretend they are superior to the shitholes they left so they force this everything is better here mentality, make of that what you will, actual europeans don't play or watch sports anymore, they only goon all day
>>149174991 (OP) Imagine being from Brazil and your team not having qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup. >>149175969 Only fans of a club without at least one major title in the last four years are complaining about Fraudentino's Cup.
>>149175969 >plays club once after they've played 80 matches >beats them 2-1 >y-yeah, they would never be able to beat us in any other format, it's pointless to play this >*pisses himself* This (You)

>>149177910 England's early history of the World Cup is a 20 year sperg that didn't end until after WWII, at which point the began their tradition of dropping points to the Americans in the World Cup. >The relationship between England and FIFA became strained, and this resulted in their departure from FIFA in 1928, before they rejoined in 1946.[9] As a result, they did not compete in a World Cup until 1950, in which they were beaten in a 1–0 defeat by the United States, failing to get past the first round in one of the most embarrassing defeats in the team's history.
