It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought. The worst parts were all the none soccer shit. Like the pre game concert and the NBA style walkouts

Not having teams qualify 4 years ago playing with completely different squads would be a good starting point

stop including teams that are not European or Latinamerican, rest of the world has no competitive clubs simple as, at least some big latinamerican team might make it to quarterfinals
at most 1 spot for Africa, 1 for Concacaf excluding Mexico. 1 for Middle East and 1 for Asia+Oceania, play qualyfing games to decide the 4 that go
There's TEN of those shitters in the current format
the 3 spots from Mexico should be added to the southamerica+mexico pool

Qualification only from last year continental champions(exclude oceania or make it playoff against afc ffs), cup and league champions of top 10 leagues, rest from federation ranking with priority to uefa and conmebol, and get rid of the limit of teams per country

Makes no sense, so the other 3 years of competitions are worthless in comparison?

Let it die in peace. We only need what is now the Intercontinental Cup, except that they shouldn't always host it in some Arab country where the host club gets to participate as well
If you want a 32 team mega-event, which is a terrible idea for club football in summer for various reasons, then don't have cycles of four years. They just don't make sense for clubs. Getting rid of that would be a good start, but you'd still have tons of problems

Still footie, but if you wanna look it that way, its money they get over those years to build a great squad at the qualification year, most teams change completely in 2 years what sense it makes for a champion 4 years ago to play a competition now, fluminense nearly played this from serie B

This. Make it less American and it's better than I expected. Anons talk about clubs from other continents as if weaker sides like Australia and Korea didn't consistently deliver slurpers in the World Cup group stages. Nobody expects Cameroon to win the World Cup, but I think it'd be unfair to take their right to compete and it'd make the tournament look blander. Wanting to exclude these teams feels to me a bit like the European Suler League thing.

The ESL was about destroying established structures: domestic leagues, which are the backbone of any football tradition, and/or the most prominent international club competition, the CL.
There is no equal in the form of intercontinental competition, the level of awareness and prestige based on tradition just isn't there. But that doesn't mean I would rule them out. It's just that you can't expect anybody to be arsed about seeing the AFC champion from 3 years ago play when the entire concept of intercontinental competition just isn't as big in the first place, let alone in the form of this very format FIFA just introduced (for very obvious reasons that have little to do with sportive value)
I fully agree that there should be intercontinental competition, and that competition requires the champions from all continents (although I personally dislike OFC existing). But the new CWC itself is a dumb idea for various reasons, the cycle is the worst of them all

Your point being?
That's your opinion, and it can be rejected - even though nobody doubts that Bayern is dominant. And even if, the league easily survives because of said tradition, not to mention perspective. I guess this is hard to understand for Americans with their closed franchise leagues where there's only a single trophy, but it's completely normal for various clubs to not be in it to win it. No league has 18/20 title contenders. And the fact that it's the national league with all the historic rivalries as well as the existance of other things to play for like CL and EL participation (not to mention the national cup, but that's a separate thing after all) means people will continue to watch it. The Bundesliga is the football league with the best attendance. If you want "the best" only, then you must watch the CL, but only the knockouts. The CWC definitely isn't for you, since Liverpool and Barcelona were missing while clubs who won with completely different teams years ago were there, not to mention clubs you'd have to refer to as giga-farmers. The Bundesliga is the third- or fourth-best league in Europe and probably the world depending on what metric you use, the CWC on the other hand features clubs from countries the average American doesn't know exist

fucking this

It's beyond retarded to organize this whole thing every 4 years when all non-euro teams barely keep half their squad for 1 or 2 years (and god forbid we get an underdog champion, small clubs get fucking ransacked in a week for just getting top 5 in the local leagues).

Boca has been ass for at least three years now, River has been terrible so far this year, Manchester City is utter shit right now in comparison to previous years, Fluminense almost fell to the second division last year, Salzburg and Porto are only here because of the meme rules for the ranking system, and fucking Ésperance qualified because they literally rigged the final of the african cup a few years ago.

If they want to have a club world cup, they'd have to do it every year (which clubs would fucking hate), and they'd HAVE to host it in a semi-immediate timeframe after each continent's cups are finished. 32 teams is fucking overkill, too, unless you want to add a few (non-farmer) league champions instead of just cup teams.

Alternatively, you make it a 16-team format with 4 groups of 4 and straight to quarterfinals:
>1 host team (local league champion)
>6 euros (UCL final 4, and two from a play-off between the other 4 teams left behind in quarterfinals)
>3 sudacas (final 2 in Libertadores + play-off between semi-finalists)
>The 2 ConCACAf finalists
>The 2 Asian Champions League finalists
>African champions
>1 team from a play-off between the literal amateur Oceanian champions, and leftover teams from other confederations where you can chuck a few other pontentially decent teams in, like the remaining sudaca, the other Africa finalist, or another euro team
