Palmerdas is awful bro, stop coping. I had no respect for BR football but now its in the mud

Porto is an extremely bad team with an horrible coach. Aside from the keeper and Mora i wouldnt take any of their players at Sporting. Sporting with Amerdim would have beated Palmerdas by 3 or 4 goals and im not joking

I think the issue is that people see Porto finished the league in third place and think that's a very good result, but the thing is our league is always the same 3 horse race every year between Porto, Benfica and Sporting, and even still we only snagged third in the end because Braga looked at us and went
>fucking amateurs, now observe some real professional choking
A whole 11 points away from the top is an utter embarrassment for us, and it wasn't even worse because every other team is a complete non-factor. Even with Braga's monumental season ending cock gobbling, Santa Clara only finished in 5th 9 points away from them.

porto would be mid tier in brazil, benfica and sporting probably circling libertadores spots
you have no fucking idea how hard brasileirao is and how tight it is.

there are way more big teams and the calendar screws you hard. Teams that qualified for copalib one year have to rotate hard to compete in copalib and that lets other big teams with only 2 competitions (copa do brasil and serie a) with an easier calendar.

lucas (ex-tottenham, now sao paulo) would easily play in porto/benfica/sporting and is in a team that is 12th in brasileirao

that is one example of many

brasileirao would be a league in the same level as the prem if it had the money and clubs weren’t managed like shit

hopefully this is changing now and gringos (like textor and others) see the potential and are bringing money bags because people actually go to stadiums

average brasileirao attendance is 25k/game (and increasing)
la liga and ligue 1 are 30-27k/game
tugao is 12k/game

al ahly x porto will be 0x1 or 0x2, and watch out for mamelodi sundowns

its an attendance x ticket price problem: that is the income of a club, and that helps them get good players

flamengo’s income is 220million euros/year
