But OFC as a confederation on the same level as, well, all the others seems a bit too much. It's just NZ's practice grounds for the most part (Tahiti can challenge them on a good day), they have a higher population than all other OFC members combined - except for Papua New Guinea, which has twice the population of NZ, but is hilariously underdeveloped. NZ's dominance in national team and especially club football is striking, and the confederation now having 1 full World Cup spot makes it look like a farce orchestrated by kiwi bribes or something to have the easiest path possible
Perhaps OFC should exist as some sort of regional preliminary round within AFC. NZ would generally benefit from playing against stronger opponents in Asia, but starting off with an easy OFC round might still give them enough of an advantage to somewhat convince them
