This is an official competition sanctioned by FIFA itself with a prize money higher than the Champions League itself. It doesn’t matter if you care or not, facts don’t care about your feelings, this is a competition where both teams are trying to win and you lost fair and square, own up to your loss instead of being whining faggots.

Wrong. I can create a competition in my backyard and call it a world cup it doesn't mean anyone will give two fucks about it. Just because FIFA is behind this cash grab and they decided to call it a "world cup" doesn't mean that it's the most prestigious tournament or that it ever will be. For one it's missing quite a bit of the actual best teams in the world so that alone makes it a lower standard than the Champions league. The Champions league is a collection of clubs that contains the best teams and all the best players, so if those teams and players are out of the equation then this tournament isn't important. It doesn't matter if some thirdie team fluked a win in the group stage. That's like Sheriff Tiraspol beating Real Madrid in the group stage of the Champions league and Madrid went on to win the trophy anyways. In the end a European team is gonna win so all of your hype is for nothing, and rest assured if PSG doesn't win it they will still be hailed as the best club this season because they won the actual best competition in the world, which is the Chanpions league

You’re not FIFA, your competition would not be official, you have no money and no prestige, your tournament would mean nothing and rightly so. But this is an official tournament sanctioned by the highest organization in world football.
>Just because FIFA is behind this cash grab and they decided to call it a "world cup" doesn't mean that it's the most prestigious tournament or that it ever will be.
This is so dishonest, nowhere did I say it was the most prestigious tournament ever, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s an official tournament organized and recognized by FIFA.
>For one it's missing quite a bit of the actual best teams in the world so that alone makes it a lower standard than the Champions league.
Dishonesty again, or maybe do you have some difficulties with reading? I never said it was better than the Champions League.
>The Champions league is a collection of clubs that contains the best teams and all the best players, so if those teams and players are out of the equation then this tournament isn't important.
How can you even say that after yesterday’s results? Actually since the start of the tournament the European teams have been underperforming, again, facts don’t care about your feelings, you can watch the matches and see for yourself.

Ok? *Saitama face*, it still doesn’t change the fact that this is an official competition, players are being paid to play and win and you lost.

Also what exactly is a cashgrab? Aren’t all competitions cashgrabs? The capitalist world revolves around cash and European football in particular is all about money, the last Champions League champion was literally built with oil money. How can you criticize the CWC as being a cashgrab with a straight face when your own teams are the ones changing everything through money? Are all Europeans just a bunch of sheep easily influenced by UEFA propaganda?

>official competition
Doesn't matter. Fiba also has the basketball world cup and it's treated as a joke by NBA players because the NBA is much better and much harder to win. A competition being labeled official by some governing body does not make it an important competition. Also Fifa pumping in a shit ton of money just to add stakes of any kind to this tournament is even more pathetic

You sure it’s because of that and not because of all the money involved? You realize they have more than one hour of commercials, right? And the way the NBA structured is the exact same way the European Superleague would be. But wait a minute, weren’t you criticizing “cashgrab” competitions a while ago? Huh…
>competition being labeled official by some governing body does not make it an important competition.
It’s not an important competition to (You), but the ones in it are professional players being paid to do their job right and that job is to be competitive and win. Your feelings as an spectator does not matter, your team tried his hardest to win and it lost, that’s all there is to it.
