It depends heavily of where you are born desu. Theres no reason for a paulista to be a Goiás fan for example, but in Goiania its the sovlfvl choice.
Some states in the norteast larp as carioca, some states in the middle-west of brazil larp as paulista.
The most sovlfvl team on average, imo, is Portuguesa de Desportos.

Based on this:

Red is a no no unless you are a faggot who wants to root for a good team right away. Green is ok, but they will probably keep sucking for a while if not forever. Orange is the perfect inbetween. So I would recommend one between Vasco, Santos, Corinthians and Inter.

- Vasco has Coutinho and Payet, a few interesting guys other than that, but most suck. Le we fought racism once and now we fight against chuds >:(. Biggest yoyo team
- Santos has Neymar, but he will probably leave soon, and the rest of the team sucks. Old people team, or Neymar-ball-sucking zoomer team, no in-between. Will probably suck for a while
- Corinthians has Memphis, Carillo and Yuri Alberto, the rest is kinda meh. The twister of this club is either: criminal, asian, tranny, rich white teenager, or all of them at the same time. Lots of fans and help from refs, so they will rarely suck for long periods of time
- Inter: Amalgamation of whos. The whitest people you will ever meet, the blackest people you will ever meet, a bunch of faggots, a bunch of hot ladies, no in-between. Cup-only team, don't expect a Brasileirão title any time soon

I am Vasco, but if I were to pick between these teams based on what they are nowadays, I would probably pick between Corinthians or Inter. At least I know I wouldn't have to wait long to compete for something. Vasco has been deteriorating slowly for the past 15+ years, and Santos once in a while develops a really good guy, sells him, then sucks again until they find someone else. And to be fair, they probably already did: Kauan Basile, but they will have to wait for a few years before selling him kek I think he will flop but...
